Finding a community is hard.

Building a community is hard.

Why did I make this?

I created this website to help keep track of the countless communities I have explored as a female tech founder. After countless more conversations with other women looking for the same communities, I realized I had tried out more than most – and that many women just don’t know where to look! While I found many to be lacking and none to be perfect, my preferences are my own. I think each and every community is right for someone out there. I hope you find yours!

What this website is and is not.

This website is merely a directory of potentially useful communities for female tech founders. We may include notes to help folks find the right community for themselves, but we do not intend to allow comments or testimonials.

How to join a community

If the community is open to all (or open with an application), we will provide a link. Simply click the Join Community button.

If it’s invite-only, you’ll need to find someone to invite you. However, we may be able to find someone for you! If you’re interested, drop your email below and we’ll notify you when this possibility becomes a reality.

How to find belonging

We recommend you only join a handful of communities and give them a chance. Really engage! A community will only work for you if you work for it. You get out what you put in, which means you need to be an active participant. Simply lurking will likely not lead to belonging.
